Johnson |
Rev. Rainbow Johnson holds a
Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA in Education and English, and a Master’s
Degree from the University of California at Northridge in Psychology and
Counseling. In January 2001 she was awarded an honorary Doctorate
in Humanities from the School of Spiritual Sciences of the Inner Circle
University of Graduate Christianity in Los Angeles, California.
During her first career as an educator and curriculum
coordinator, she taught a great variety of subjects to groups in all age
ranges, including developmentally disabled children in the urban core,
music students in rural Kauai (in the state of Hawaii), adult-age high
school drop-outs, graduate students, and Japanese senior citizens.
Rev. Rainbow has been a professional transformational
counselor and a regular contributor to Science of Mind Magazine
more than 20 years. She was ordained as a Religious Science minister in
1984; she has taught in the Religious Science School of Ministry; and
she was Pastor of the New Vision Church in Austin, Texas from
1984 to 1992. She is commissioned by the United Church of Religious
Science to train persons around the world to teach the principles of
Science of Mind, and she currently travels the world speaking,
presenting workshops, doing transformational counseling, and
facilitating retreats. Some of her Daily Guides for Richer Living
have been published as the book, Apples of Gold. Her forthcoming
book, The Year of the Rainbow, contains 366 Daily Guides for
Richer Living plus original poetry.
Her entire life is devoted to the demonstration of
the oneness and holy nature of all facets of life, cultivating the
synergy of spirituality, psychology, philosophy, science, ecology, the
healing arts, the creative arts, and the cultures of Humankind. She
honors and embraces all creation, empowering individuals to express
their Divine Nature in Love, Joy, Freedom, and Passion! |
