Navigation Buttons: How They WorkEach page except the Entry Page has text-style navigation buttons at the bottom of the page, and each page except the Entry Page and the Home Page has graphical navigation buttons at the top of the page. If your browser is not Java-enabled, you will not see buttons at the top of any pages, but all visitors will see the text-style navigation buttons. Graphical Navigation Buttons at the Tops of PagesIf your browser is Java-enabled, you will see a row of one or more navigation buttons across the top of each page except the Entry Page and the Home Page, followed by a banner with the (possibly abbreviated) name of the page (your browser displays the full name), followed by another row of one or more navigation buttons. Each navigation button contains the name of a page on this site. The mouse cursor turns into a hand when you move the cursor over the button, and you can click on the button to visit the page whose name is on the button. The first row of graphical buttons, above the banner, are links to the pages in the level above the current page, where above means towards the Home Page. The pages in the first row of buttons are the parents, uncles, and aunts of the current page! If present, the second row of graphical buttons, below the banner, have links to the pages in the same level as the current page. These pages are the brothers and sisters of the current page. This row of buttons does not appear if the current page has no brother or sister pages. Text-Style Navigation Buttons at the Bottoms of PagesThe text-style buttons at the bottoms of pages contain links to the pages below the level of the current page, where below means away from the Home Page. These pages are the children of the current page! This collection of navigation buttons also includes a link to the Home Page and a link to the parent of the current page. Whether your browser displays the graphical buttons or not, you can navigate up and down in the structure of the site by clicking on text-style navigation buttons at the bottoms of pages. Three Levels of Organization: Three Groups of Navigation ButtonsThe three collections of navigation buttons on each page with both a top and bottom shared border have this organization:
